Typically this will involve reading journal articles and books, working on individual and group projects, undertaking research in the Learning Resource Centre, preparing coursework assignments and presentations and preparing for any time constrained assessments.

In order for students to be successful on Pearson BTEC Higher National qualifications, it is critical that they have an appropriate level of English language skills. Our HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering will teach you core engineering principles and demonstrate how the knowledge you gain can be used effectively in the workplace.
HNC graduates progress straight to the final stages of the course at Level 5. These fees only apply to this HNC programme.
This two-year part-time course is for those who are employed or seeking employment at technician or engineer level in Electrical or Electronic Engineering environment.
BTEC Higher National qualifications are widely recognised by industry and higher education as the principal vocational qualification at Levels 4 and 5.
Students take modules worth 60 credits per year; credits are required to achieve the qualification.
